Oops, sory Angus, missed your comment.

Thanks for that. I'll make sure I include any other work arounds for Elements if I think of any as I go for you.

:)

Thanks for that great feedback Vaudry :)

I had no idea what style to attempt so I was just, well, myself :)

I am glad I seem to have found the right balance so that it is clear and simple, but without sounding patronising (which I certainly never intend).

Thanks :)

Hello Simon,
I am really happy to have found your site. I have been looking for video help and have not found any as good as yours! Your style of presentation is clear, easy to follow, and allows me to watch the downloads repeatedly on my computer. Your style of speaking is most enjoyed; you sound well-prepared, not glib or sounding like you're speaking to very slow children.Your voice is very pleasant.I especially like your demos of various ways to do the same things and how to avoid or fix problems.Thank you!

Hi Simon,

Thanks a million - very useful. I am quickly trying to pick up various things in conjuction with video editing software so i can knock out wires unwanted objects etc in video frames, and maybe move onto colour etc.Would love to know what other work-arounds you think are really useful on features that are in CS3 but not Elements. And happy xmas to you baby Robert et all.
Hi Lesley & Steve

Really glad you are finding the tutorials helpful.

I have come across some other ways to do the layer mask thing (thanks Corrine) but as I am so far behind on the tutorials I have planned (thanks to new baby) I'll do some of the other tutorials first before I give alternate methods to anything I am showing (as there are alternatives to most methods in PS).

:)

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this! My Dad and I were trying to figure out a work around for using layer masks and we were SO excited to find this! It was most helpful and we can do it now! Thanks for letting us download the pictures to practice on to make sure we were doing it correctly.

Thanks!

All the best,

Lesley & Steve

Hey- thank you so much for taking the time to do this! I got my degree in film but used mostly actual film, so don't have much experience with digital. Especially considering that things have changed in the 6 or so years since I've gotten my degree. I am currently a social worker and doing some marketing projects with the non-profit for which I work. This will help us tremendously not to mention is really seriously cool. Thanks!
